Nordic businesses join CEO Statement from Danish Businesses to stand together globally with high ambitions for a just and green transition to a net-zero future

Nordic businesses together in a call for climate action and strong collaboration between business and governments.
The #COP28 presidency has recognized the importance of "innovative processes through private sector engagement, inclusion, accountability and transparency." Our CEO Statement was launched as a response to UN Secretary-General António Guterres' call to "rescue the #SDGs" in September 2023, but it has now traveled across borders to include companies from all over the Nordics. Now, 40 Danish and a total of 75 Nordic companies stand together in a commitment for a just transition to a net-zero future, give common recommendations, and request more action from Governments globally in order to get there. We hope to see this happen at COP28 and beyond.
It's a collective effort. We need strong partnerships and coalitions, both public and private, to make it happen. We are grateful for our strong Nordic collaboration and for the additional 13 Danish companies joining the call for collective action for a green and just transition towards a net-zero future.
