About this event
As companies move from net-zero commitments to implementation, new challenges – and opportunities – emerge. This workshop brings together climate specialists from large Danish companies to exchange experiences and discuss practical pathways towards achieving net-zero emissions by 2050 at the latest.
The discussions will be grounded in version 2 of the SBTi Corporate Net-Zero Standard, expected to be launched in the first half of the year*. Using the updated standard as a common reference point, participants will explore implications for corporate strategy, target-setting, and implementation, and identify shared lessons on what is working, what remains difficult, and where collaboration can help move progress forward.
Participants will take part in two facilitated discussion rounds. Ahead of the workshop, participants will be asked to prioritize their preferred themes during registration. Discussion groups will be formed based on these priorities, allowing participants to engage in the topics most relevant to them.
*Disclaimer: If the Net-Zero Corporate Standard is delayed, we will discuss net-zero using the current standard, the latest draft, and other relevant frameworks and guidelines.
