Do you want to work close to the business and help strengthen data, reporting, and system development in an operational environment?

We are looking for a Business Intelligence and Analytics Specialist to support the development of local Danish systems and applications while contributing to reporting, data quality, and analytics across IWS. This is a role for someone who enjoys working in the intersection between operations, ERP, data structures, and business intelligence—and who wants to help build scalable and reliable analytics capabilities together with colleagues across Denmark and the Nordics.

In this role, you will support both the local Danish business and the wider IWS Business Intelligence & Analytics setup. You will help ensure that operational data is accurate, usable, and trusted, while also contributing to reporting solutions and improved data governance practices.

About the role

The purpose of the role is to support local Danish systems and applications development in the ERP and production data environment, while contributing to business intelligence, data quality, and reporting activities across IWS. The role strengthens Denmark’s operational data processes while building scalable analytics capabilities under guidance from the IWS Business Intelligence & Analytics team.

The role is approximately split between two main focus areas:

Local systems, ERP, and data process support

You will:

  • Maintain and further develop local data structures to enable consistent, reliable, and scalable data use across Danish operations
  • Act as a local ERP superuser and support configuration, testing, and smaller development activities that improve system performance and data integrity
  • Improve local data quality and compliance to ensure accurate, timely, and trustworthy inputs for operational, regulatory, and financial reporting
  • Support stable end-to-end data flows by coordinating with operations, IT, and Nordic stakeholders to resolve issues and develop better practices
  • Help ensure that operational data reliably supports monthly financial processes and other downstream reporting needs

Business intelligence and analytics support

You will also:

  • Support the development of Power BI reports and datasets to enable transparent and consistent analytics across IWS
  • Contribute to data modeling, validation, and preparation activities to ensure reliable analytical outputs
  • Participate in data governance activities to strengthen shared definitions, metadata, and data management practices
  • Support and develop the use of IWS data structures to enable reliable reporting, analytics, and data-driven decision-making

What you will be working with

You will work in structured and moderately complex workstreams, helping improve data flows, reporting structures, and system reliability. The role supports both operational and analytical decision-making by ensuring validated data and stronger processes.

You will balance local Danish business needs with Nordic standards and practices, and you will handle routine tasks independently while growing into broader responsibilities over time. The role also contributes to the continuous development of local data and system processes as ERP and operational platforms evolve.

Collaboration and stakeholder management

You will work closely with colleagues across Danish operations, S&OP, finance, production, IT, and Nordic BI stakeholders. Success in the role requires strong collaboration skills and the ability to communicate clearly across functions.

You should be comfortable translating technical and data-related topics into language that makes sense to operational and business stakeholders, and you should be able to work constructively with both local and Nordic colleagues in a matrix organisation.

Your profile

We expect that you have a relevant educational background within data, IT, engineering, finance, or a similar field, and that you are motivated by working with data in a business-oriented and operational context.

We expect that you bring:

  • Experience with Power BI Desktop and Service
  • Good knowledge of DAX, Power Query (M), SQL, and data modeling
  • A basic understanding of reporting governance practices
  • A basic understanding of modern data ecosystems such as Databricks; experience with Synapse, Snowflake, or Fabric is an advantage
  • A relevant master’s degree or bachelor’s degree in data science, computer science, finance, industrial engineering, or a related field
  • Power BI certifications are an advantage

It is also important that you:

  • Have strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Can translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Understand how data, reporting, and system improvements create business and financial value
  • Work in a structured and detail-oriented manner
  • Are motivated by learning and developing in a role with both local operational and broader analytical exposure

What we offer

We offer an exciting opportunity to join a business where data, systems, and operations are closely connected. You will have the chance to contribute to both local Danish development and broader Nordic analytical standards, while working with engaged stakeholders across functions.

You will be based in our Nyborg office, with the possibility of a hybrid work model. The role is part of a matrix organisation and involves close collaboration with stakeholders across IT, Operations, SCM, Sales, and Finance.

Interested?

If you want to work in a role where you can combine ERP understanding, data quality, and business intelligence with close interaction with the business, we would like to hear from you.

Send us your CV as soon as possible – we review applications on an ongoing basis but within 2-3 weeks we start inviting for interviews.
