About this event
How can your company prepare for the EU's upcoming Forced Labour Regulation, and what does it mean for human rights due diligence in practice?
Join us for the final HELLO! session of the year as we explore the implications of the EU Forced Labour Regulation (EU FLR) and its role in advancing responsible business conduct. While many companies have already begun aligning with frameworks such as the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights and the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD), the Forced Labour Regulation introduces a new enforcement mechanism with potentially significant business implications. The regulation that seeks to prohibit products made with forced labour from the EU market, places renewed focus on companies' ability to identify and address forced labour risks throughout their value chains.
Together with experts from the Danish Institute for Human Rights, we will unpack the key elements of the regulation, discuss practical considerations for implementation, and examine how the regulation aligns with the UN Global Compact Principle 4: the elimination of all forms of forced and compulsory labour.
Following the presentation, participants are invited to continue the conversation over coffee and networking with peers facing similar challenges and opportunities.
We look forward to welcoming you for an engaging morning of learning, dialogue, and knowledge sharing.
