The directive's aim is to equalize the pay gap between men and women and can have significant consequences for all employers in Denmark. Deadline for implementation is 7 June 2026. However, employers should already now consider including the mechanisms in their ESG and DE&I strategy on workforce and equal pay initiatives as the directive is to be seen as a benchmark for minimum equal pay initiative.
