The position

If so, we invite you to be a pivotal part of our dynamic team, where you will play a central role in scaling our sustainability learning and engagement platform, Incept Sustainability. Join us in scaling our sustainability engagement too with large key accounts and leading market expansions for a sustainable future.

The department, Strategic Sustainability Consulting is a part of Ramboll Management Consulting, specialising in business and sustainability consulting. As part of our team, you will contribute to the management of the team and large key accounts, with a primary focus on scaling and sales perspective of Incept Sustainability, our sustainability platform designed to elevate sustainability awareness and engagement.

You will be part of a dynamic, international department with a strong professional drive and a focus on personal and professional development. While our backgrounds are diverse, we all share the same passion for providing strategic leadership, guidance and world-class insights to our projects, clients, and colleagues across different departments within Ramboll. We value spending time together outside the workplace, fostering great team spirit and collaboration across geographies.

Your key tasks and responsibilities as Commercial Manager will include:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and revenue targets.
  • Drive sales initiatives to scale the key accounts portfolio of Incept Sustainability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product development, to align sales efforts with overall business objectives and ensure a cohesive approach to customer engagement and satisfaction.
  • Drive and oversee project delivery for key clients of Incept Sustainability, ensuring effective implementation and utilisation.
  • Build and manage robust processes to streamline the scalability of our sustainability learning and engagement platform.
  • Expand and strengthen the team by hiring, mentoring, and developing talent to meet the demands of our growing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify opportunities for market expansions and partnerships.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of sustainability initiatives, providing insights for continuous improvement.
  • Developing engaging learning materials, if required


  • Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Innovation, or related field
  • Strong project management and sales skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.
  • User-oriented focus to assist in producing sustainability training modules.
  • Experience in scaling software platforms and building processes to support growth.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, including team management and development.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Passion for sustainability and a commitment to making a positive impact.
