Alliancemøde: Arbejdstagerrettigheder i energiprojekter
At this meeting, we will take a closer look at workers’ rights in the construction of green energy — and how you can work more systematically with due diligence, grievance mechanisms and remediation in this area.

Labour exploitation and unsafe working conditions remain significant risks in energy construction, particularly in complex subcontracting chains involving migrant and posted workers. At this meeting, we bring together practitioners with hands-on experience from different angles to share insights and concrete tools you can bring back to your organization.
What you will get:
- 3F Byggegruppen – Keld Hansen, will present their experience with workers’ rights in the energy construction sector, including what strong labour standards and union structures look like in practice — and what companies can learn from the Danish context.
- City of Copenhagen, Clara Rydahl Torp and Lars Andersen from the task force against social dumping will share their hands-on experience managing worker welfare on large-scale construction projects — including lessons from major infrastructure builds such as the Metro construction — and how public procurement can be used as a lever for raising standards.
- You will be introduced to practical materials from the German Energy Sector Dialogue and the Dutch RBC Agreement for Renewable Energy. They have developed practical frameworks and tools for risk assessment at project level, covering areas such as risk assessment, procurement, subcontracting, and project monitoring — including guidance and templates that Alliance members can adapt for their own use.
We will discuss experiences and tools jointly and how they can be used both in Denmark, Europe and globally. Our ambition is that participants leave the meeting with both new insights and practical instruments they can apply directly in their work.
Let us know if there are particular challenges or tools you would like to discuss!
